ENDLESS ISLAND is David Friedman (vibraphone) and Jeremy Friedman (drums/electronics), a father son duo presenting a new turn in progressive electronic jazz, steeped in organic groovescapes and powerful free-form improvisation.
David Friedman is considered to be one of the most influential vibraphonists in the history of the instrument having worked with jazz legends including Chet Baker, Hubert Laws, Wayne Shorter, and Bobby McFerrin, as well as varied musical personalities such as Tim Buckley, Yoko Ono, Leonard Bernstein, and Luciano Berio.
Jeremy Friedman is a fresh face on the forefront of jazz production and live electronic music performance. As a producer, drummer, and percussionist Jeremy’s career spans the musical genres from pop to classical music having performed with Emiliana Torrini, Veronika Harcsa, Guillermo Klein, David Pastor, and James Levine.
